EAW Teatowels for sale

Picture
In the late 60s the Electrical Association for Women designed a range of merchandise to encourage women to become more familiar with the use of electricity in the home. This series included the three teatowels below, and these have now been reproduced for purchase this year to celebrate 100 years of women in engineering.
The teatowels are made in the UK from 100% cotton, despite the design specifying 100% linen or Pure Linen (this was what they were originally made from). Please note however that some fading may occur on washing - as was the case for the originals!
The three designs, which can be seen below, are:
  • Connections for Standard Plugs (the blue one)
  • Which Fuse? (brown)
  • Reading a Meter (purple)

Cost
The cost per teatowel is £12 including postage and packing to a UK postal address.
For all three teatowels (one of each design or any combination) the cost is £30 (including postage) to a UK address.

How to buy

In order to make a purchase, please send a cheque made out to 'Magnificent Women' to:
Magnificent Women, Bramble Hay, The Orchard, Codicote, Herts. SG4 8PY
or contact dawnbonfield (at) btinternet.com for details of online transfer. If transferring money online, please add your surname as reference. Remember to include a note of which teatowel(s) you would like to purchase, and your return address. Teatowels can be identified as Connections (blue one), Fuse (brown one), or Meter (purple one).

Please note that some fading or marking of these teatowels is likely on washing.

Any profit made from the sale of these teatowels will go into the Magnificent Women 100 Years of Women in Engineering Projects.
